A miso soup to warm my stomach…

beautiful miso soup

… konnichiwa!

I am back from Japan a week ago. I have so much to tell about the trip. AND, so much work to catch up. That is what everybody always say, “Back to reality”. Yes, I am very determined to work harder to play even harder. I wanna go Japan again! 私は絶対に日本に行きます。

After such hard work (look above), I got myself a miso soup (instant soup). Japan has lots of interesting stuffs. No one will disagree. This miss little miso soup looks really pretty but taste so-so. Lots of flavours to choose from, but, well, I got the cheapest ones which cost about 250Yen? Around that price. Sorry for those who got this from me. I will try to improve my Japanese so that I can read the flavour. Gomenasai.

Anyways I’ll write about Japan soon and share some itinerary and tips. Stay tuned! Ja ne!

Gong Xi Fa Cai!!

cf2017_01_28_11_00_23
It is the Fifth day of Chinese New Year (年初五).

Hmm… things are good so far. Well, some hiccups though. Disappointment, Guilt, Regrets, macam-macam.

Learning to be patient, taming my temper and plastering my mouth. Silent is Golden. 阿彌陀佛. Hope my repentance will help lessen my Karma. 😛

Encounter this cute apps (Meitu) which perks up my day. Life is impermanent and I should cheer myself up when no one does. 😀

Wishing you all Gong Xi Fa Cai and Good Health always.

Amazing Penang

Throwback.

I seldom visit Penang because of the long hour drive, traffic and I don’t know what to do there besides Kek Lok Si, Pulau Tikus and Asam Laksa till last December, I got wowed.

This trip is very well etched in my memory.

First we went cruising with Star Cruise – Libra. It is a Penang – Penang cruise. We can only be able to cruise locally as we have 4 generations here. Well, of course it is not enough for me. Where got enough when you spend less than 24 hours on board? Although there’s nothing much to do there but I enjoy the sky, the moon, the stars, the sun and especially the wind. Not to forget the company of my family members – the 4 generations. I had greatest time. I do miss all the happiness and laughter. I am telling myself that I will be cruising again.

I didn’t take a lot of photos this trip because I wanted to see things with my eyes. Kinda regretted now because I can’t show much here. Also, my gadget is not working very well with me. Considering of getting what? The phone with leica camera. Okay, Huawai P9. Just googled it. Pardon me. I am not a gadget person and have very less knowledge.

20161218_074351

I woke up pretty early that morning and so did my family members. First thing first, FOOD. I was so hungry we went queued up for food. We did not really plan to watch the sunrise but this beauty attracted us. It was really, really, really beautiful. The beauty of spending quiet time mesmerizing the sunrise. The wind is so-so awesome. I can feel the heart was brimming with true happiness from all of us.

20161218_083615

So silly of me for wanting to do the ‘Titanic’ pose. It is prohibited to enter la moi.

I like the simplicity of this ship. We spent most of our time standing on the deck against the wind, counting jellyfishes. 😀 These are the things that we’ll never do in the city. Just too sad we have to leave the ship by 11am.

Check-in Vouk Hotel. Built in 2016 with tip-top service. Spacious and comfortable. By far, Vouk serves the best breakfast. 2 thumbs up. Looking forward to enjoy the swimming pool in my next stay. Sorry once again that I have no photos to show and I don’t want to grab one from the internet though.

Bukit Bendera a.k.a Penang Hill. My first visit was in 1990. It has changed so much and I got wowed again. I would suggest you to get the Fast Lane ticket at RM30 for adults and RM15 for students RM5 for senior citizen (for MYCARD holder). Worth the price to save the time of waiting. Oh! Please look for chickpea masala. You can smell the aroma of spices from far away that will make you drool. Trust me. It is super duper tasty.

20161219_105238

Lucky enough that I managed to capture such a beautiful scene on the way back down. For those who love the nature, cooling weather and who hasn’t been to Penang Hill for years, do make a trip here. Advisable to check the weather forecast first.

Made a stop at one of the R&Rs to stretch our legs and were greeted with this condensation of cloud. Beautiful, right?

gogirl_camo_01Add on: I would like to share with you that GoGirl helped me a lot in this trip. I have zero worry and hassle going to the loo. I don’t mean to be a bitch but I can’t bear the uncleanliness. You just imagine. And because of this, many of us started half squatting and so did I. Let me tell you, it hurts my knees terribly. GoGirl is my bff when comes to loo especially when I am travelling. Many may not be comfortable with stand peeing. Trust me, after a few practice you will know how nice to have GoGirl with you.

I would rather protect my knees and be able to walk further than half squatting and the pain will last for days. What about “washing” people asked. Well, I would say that I will first protect my knees and do a quick wash. You can still wash though. I will then use Dettol to wash the Go-Girl after my trip.

If you are interested to get one for youself, I have only 2 left and will be discontinued. Read more about GoGirl here. I can now pee like a man! I also look forward to show-off when I have the chance to camp. Hah!

HE is the greatest.

Staring at the log in page for a moment, I can’t figure out what to do. 困ったなあ! Blank. Total blank. Blank… blank… Super Blank… Mega Blank. Gave up and seek for help with hope of not getting shoot with AK47.
Surprise. Surprise. It turned out smooth like butter. Image result for shrug pout Nah~he is just in the mood.

Too many things happened, I would like to skip and not to think about it. Indeed, there is no point of dwelling about the past. Life goes on though and all facts accepted. Walking the ups and downs of this life journey of mine with the toughest manners I can. I got the power, yeah? But God is still the greatest afterall. Hope that 2017 will be good to me. At least better to me. おねがいします!

Thinking low and high about what I want in life. I told A that I want to die a happy person and be a happy ghost soul with no regrets in life. Well, if you know. I will be floating on cloud nine when I travel. You know what? It is time for me see the world. I have been such a desperado. Waiting no more and missing solo travel, I checked out the flight fares. Of all the places, Kansai kept appearing. Okay, you are calling me. I got you.

So, I tried my luck texting A about Japan. To my surprise, he got excited about it too. At times, I can’t ‘guess’ him but finally, huh? Kan? Kan? Be grateful! 😀

Thinking to myself, what a cliché that I am counting down. *rolled eyes*. Because I am excited ~ what. Then this Mr. Suka Potong Stim creature intruded my excitement by reminding me that CNY comes first.

Very mixed feeling.

It’s coming soon…

fruit cake 2015

I have got the mixed-fruits soaked for 2 months plus or more I can’t recall, placed in a cool, dry place (in a cupboard) – untouched. Thanks to the nice weather of yesterday and I finally got the mood the bake it. I feel like Christmas is coming and what a clic to say, how time flies like nobody’s business.

Man, I am thinking of my life now. Should I or shouldn’t I take a sabbatical? Semi-retire maybe? Should I or shouldn’t I continue with my Japanese Language lesson? Tailoring lesson is still in pending. Handwork project is also in pending.

The only thing I will not give up for sure is Yoga. Hmm… how? what? where? when? why? Big sigh~ So many things in mind.

Monday…

…blue!!

Hello! It has been such a long time since I last blog. It’s raining now and I am enjoying my Milo with a dash of cinnamon serve with Hup Seng Cream cracker. My all time favourite.

Wishing the rain will wash away the all dust in the air. The haze is indeed very very very bad in these few months to the extent many cancellation of Marathons and outdoor activities which is disappointing for those who has been training and look forward to it. I am no exception, no trail and no walking in the park. So depressing.

Well, lucky me that there’s one thing I love doing. Yoga that it is. I am self-practicing at home and I explored a few new asana (poses) which is really fun! Thanks for the inspiration from Instagram (IG). There are so many  incredible yogis out there in this world.

You can follow me on IG @gopako to see my daily practice. Not perfect poses I did, but it is indeed a progress of it. Or check out GOPAKO for some sharing of mine.

Ouch~ the rain has stopped. 🙁 Can feel the heat again. Let’s together we pray for this “man-made-disaster” to stop and get to breathe fresh air back again!!

PostoExpress Rocks!

postoexpress

What is PostoExpress?

PostoExpress is an On-Demand-Dispatch service operating within the confines of Klang Valley. They can do delivery within 3 hours from pick up point to drop off point at anytime of the day (24/7) and even on weekends. Wow!

I have been using this service since last 2 weeks for both personal and business matters.

The 1st time I engage with PostoExpress was about 2 weeks ago when I bought some herbs for my mom. I wanted her to have it so badly but admittedly it was my bad that I couldn’t make my time to bring it over to my mom. Since I have 3 times FREE deliveries, why not-kan? Within 1 hour, my mom got the herbs. Cepatnya~

I also engage with PostoExpress to send my products from GOPAKO to one of my loyal customers. My customer is reeeeeeally happy with the prompt action. Of course I myself is very happy with PostoExpress, very good service. Hmm, I can consider adding an option on GOPAKO website for those who are willing to pay extra in order to get the goods within 3 hours upon purchasing.

Just like our customer from HunnyChamp, the mother was so desperate to have the Woombie Swaddle for her baby. And voilà~ without headache we got the delivery settled in less than 2 hours. Mommy happy. Baby happy. We lagi happy.

I sometimes dislike driving far just for a few minutes business. I got my supplier to sign-up with PostoExpress and send me my orders. Tehehe~ Comes to think about this, it helps save petrol from PJ to Taman Melawati to and fro. Save my hassle from parking, you know-lah how troublesome it is to get a parking space during office hour. Most importantly, it helps save lots of time! Hey, every minute counts okay. I can do my work while waiting for the delivery. What best is, you will receive a notification via SMS and follow up by a call. At least you will be able to estimate the time of arrival. I can arrange my time so nicely.

Honestly speaking, I am a very well organized person – in terms of schedule-lah. For productivity, I am so willing to pay extra for the service which helps save all the hassles. PostoExpress is pretty new in Malaysia and I believe that there’s always a room for improvement and will definitely be a leading dispatch company in Malaysia and Worldwide. I am very happy with their service. Here’s my full support to PostoExpress.

Oh~ how to get your  3 FREE Deliveries? Sign up for it here : bit.ly/1RXQl5j
They will send you a Discount Code to your email.
PS. The 3 Free delivery is for 30km within Klang Valley area only.

I hope you enjoy their service as much as I do.

Machine is working…

machine_01

HELLO !! It has been awhile huh…

I have finally made a trip to send my machine for repair at Menara Singer.

As I entered the building, a Chinese aunty approached me without hesitation. Me too explained everything without hesitation-lah (head-shake). She placed my machine on a table and ran a few times of testing. She checked and checked and checked to rest assure that she can help fix it to save my money for major repairing. Of course I have to if needs be.

I sincerely feel grateful to her for the effort of fixing my machine. In and out there she goes searching for tools. All I could do was just standing there watching her cute gestures, almost turning her small little shop upside down. Aunty, you are so cute and kind! I like you!

There are a few tight screws she couldn’t unscrew, I offered my help. Immediately we both team up. The bobbin case was broken and it cost RM50 to replace it. Of course I could bear the cost but unfortunately, it was out of stock. Alamak. I don’t mind leaving my machine there for a day or week, but Aunty is soooo full of spirit. She asked me to sit down and let her do her magic. With her not-so-good eye-sight, I help a bit with threading the needle and screwing. The magic was ~ sandpaper the broken bobbin case. That’s it!? Ok or not, Aunty?

We assembled everything back in order. So gan-jeong when she steps on the pedal. The sound of the machine is so nice and smooth. It is working just so fine! She said, “Go Home Now!”. LOL. So cute-kan this Aunty. Before I make my move, I thought of paying her for the repairing fees. She said it’s okay, F.O.C. Oh my goodness~ don’t make me leave without paying you. So I bought 10 original bobbins which I should be using it, and a casing for my machine. Yay!

machine_02

Well ~ the design is kinda not my style, but I need a good casing for protection. Let’s go home baby! Can’t wait to sew again. Next target is a Coverlock Machine. Gotta ikat perut for it.

coverlock_machine

Hmm, it is time to be good and I ask for a bigger space for my work station.

Trust me, ladies…

gogirl

… you need a GoGirl.

I have tried and tested this product and guess what. It is not as weird as I thought. You might not use to it when you first pee standing, but after a few practice at home you will know the benefits of it. That is especially when you are out and in the wilderness for hiking and camping. You don’t need to go deep into the bushes or have your girlfriends covering you with ‘sarong’. With GoGirl, you can just do what the guys are doing. No squatting is needed and you don’t even have to remove your backpack. A point is given to GoGirl.

Many of us have hesitation going to the loo in the plane especially long haul. Agree? I would either settle myself before getting on board or going to the lavatory when it is still clean. It is a nightmare to share toilet with all people of all genders. So of course, it is a long haul and you really cannot hold it anymore your bladders wanna burst. Just suck it up, take a super long deep breath and pee hovering even when the toilet bowl is covered. End up with tired thighs and shortening of breath like you have done 3 sets of squats in there. So, may I add another point to GoGirl?

In the cities we do too need them. Say, party, pubs, disco, restaurants, gas station… can you imagine?

GoGirl is also suitable for medical purpose and for elderly women as well. Due to knees or hips problems, many have difficulties squatting and rising on the toilet. I know how ‘painful’ it is as I’ve been through it. It is perfect aid for pregnancy, post-surgery and other sort of mobility.

The benefits include:
• Compact and durable design is convenient, portable and discreet, keeping the GoGirl accessible for when you need it the most.
• Medical-grade silicone seals to your body, for mess free use.
• Unique splatter-free tip design and easy to aim spout.
• Form-fitting to help prevent leaks.
• GoGirl can be reused again and again by rinsing with soap and water or it’s economical enough to dispose of.
• Because it’s reusable, GoGirl is a environmentally-friendly product. Be green and reuse.
• GoGirl comes in a small plastic tube with two tissues and a small bag for storage or disposal. Once cleaned you can roll it up and put it back in the tube for reuse.

gogirl
• For best results, maintaining the seal on the back is important.
• Practice at home to be sure you have good seal.

In the tube, a tissue, a plastic back and a silicone tube is provided.
Once it is use, rinse with water then shake lightly to dry. Wash later with mild soap and water to sanitize.
Re-roll GoGirl in a baggie and store back in the compact tube.

Visit gopako-gogirl for more information.

Happy Belated New Year!!

table_calendar

Happy 11th day of 2015!

Nandaji was asking us what is our new year’s resolution in one of his evening classes. Huh… this question is so out, dey. No, nothing. Life goes on. That was my answer to his question.

Honestly, I don’t know what is it to be so excited about except for getting a new table calendar with bigger boxes for me to write on. This is the 1st ever biggest table calendar I got since so many years like a decade. Thank you for that although I wish it to be bigger larger. This is giving me the idea (which I already have it long ago but no action to it) to make a BIG table calendar or maybe a wall calendar for myself next year. I want it very, very big you know? Do you want one? Hah!

Appointments and meeting are all set. Deadlines, set. Urgh~ Boring. Thank God I do have classes and activities to cheer me up. They are the Yang to my Yin.

So, what is your new year’s resolution? 😀
