Another countdownโ€ฆ

Good Morning people !! Did you sleep well ? I did not…

… I was rolling from side to side, kinda struggling in my sleep. Guess I’m over excited or exhausted or mixed. Haha. Counting down to leave for Phuket & Koh Yao Noi in a week. Start listing the number of stuffs to be packed as we gotta travel light. Start having some crazy imagination of the outings such as climbing, that gives me stomachache. Blerk ~ Soaking up the sun is what I love most… bike riding… photoshooting. Yeah, my new Canon 60D is traveling with me… weee … And spending time with my love and lovely peeps… I can’t wait !! Now you see… I couldn’t be more excited…

… and back to the reality, I’ve to wrap my work up… wrapping, keep wrapping… and still wrapping. Am currently working on an Illustration project, a presentation folder, some business card design, flyers, newsletter and a packaging. Woohoo ~~ Now you see… I couldn’t be more nervous and exhausted… Haha…

A Colorful Wednesday…

gift from India

Wednesday is my best day because it is Yoga day. And today an extra smile added on my face when I got a gift from guru Shammee. She got me a very beautiful note book from India. I like the color combination and every sewing details on it. What I like the most is it’s handmade, which is what I believe. ๐Ÿ˜€

India is one of the places that I’m interested to visit. Now I got inspired to work for this trip one day… Ale ~

Appreciate it with all my heart. Namaste, Shammee.

High Five ~

If you are wondering what I’ve been up to lately. I would say…

1 finger up Reading some new yoga books bought from Amazon.com.
2 fingers up – Brushing up some rock climbing skills.
3 fingers up – Preparing for photography session on this coming weekend.
4 fingers up – Tying up some loose ends before I leave for a 7-days vacation.
And last, thumb up Looking forward to a ‘surprise’ pressie that will be arriving in 4 months time. (If you know what it is…ha ha).

My month of April is going to be fully occupied. And woot… I was left with this cute little miniature to help chill me out. I can finish this 135ml of beer in 3-4 gulps. The size is just so nice for me to consume fewer in calories !! I likey. ๐Ÿ˜€

Cheers and Good Night, people. – Melle

… my very 1st outdoor shooting with 60D. Not very successfully done and I need 100 times of practice. Or maybe more. Wish me luck ~ =D

If I have not mistaken, my last visit to the zoo was at 5 or 6. I got pretty excited when we’ve decided to visit the zoo for some tryouts. It was not because that I could get the chance to test on my new camera. It was because, I feel grateful and it’s my pleasure to be around the nature and get mesmerized – I always love doing so. Although we find that keeping these lovely animals in the cage instead of in the wild is a bit of sad… but zoo or zoological garden is where we, as humans could study and get educated. My visit to the zoo brought back many memories, reminiscing about the good old days and knowing how beautiful nature and life is.

Admittedly, getting away from the computer and internet is a way to rejuvenate the mind and soul. So… Let’s go to the zoo, there’s lots of things to do… Remember the jingle from KFC? But sadly KFC is just ain’t there anymore. It’s like something missing visiting the zoo. Oh no… how can this be happening to the Zoo Negara. ๐Ÿ™

And my advice to you is to have your meal first, or you will end up paying RM3.50 for a Maggi Hot Cup Instant Noodle. We also ended up having our KFC elsewhere after the trip to satisfied our hunger as perfection is much needed to end the trip…

Good Day…

“How was it?”, Abner asked.
“Great!”, that’s my answer to the question with a contented smile.

I never knew how great doing yoga in the morning could truely be. It helps clear my mind and relax my soul after a long and hectic week. The more I practice yoga, the more I got enlightened. Yoga is not only toning your body or giving you strength. Yoga is a philosophy that begins with the spirit. Getting in touch with your spirit is the true goal of yoga. It occurs naturally when your mind quiets and you are able to access the inner wisdom that emerges from the deepest aspect of your being. There are more to learn and experience – everyday. ๐Ÿ™‚

Now, please do allow me to share with you how to start a good day with this simple breathing exercise – Ujjayi breathing.

  • Lie on your back or in a seated cross-leg position with your eyes close and place your hands on your stomach.
  • Breathe through your nose and relax all muscles.
  • Inhale slowly, expending your ribcage in 4 counts.
  • Exhale gently, relax tension in 7 counts.
  • Continue breathing at your own pace.

Start each day with this breathing exercise for 1 to 2 minutes. It helps your body and brain to refill each cell with fresh oxygen. Enjoy and have a good day !! Namaste ~ Melle

Fifteen Night…

chap goh mei

Today is the final day of Lunar New Year. It’s also a Chinese Valentine’s Day in Southeast Asia where many unmarried or singles will write their name and contacts on the tangerines and toss them into the sea or lake, in a hope that their future spouse will pick it up. I do have few girlfriends who found their hubby from this tradition. Mm.. mm… faith, faith… ๐Ÿ™‚

Tangerines tossing still very in vogue – I believe. To all single ladies and gentlemen, go try tossing some tangerines tonight too. ๐Ÿ˜€

Happy Chap Goh Mei !!

OM…

Had my 1st yoga practice this evening with guru Shammee. I fell asleep at the end of Shava Asana and luckily I did not snore. It was so close. Haha. Let me tell you, CNY is tiring. Seriously. I also got myself overindulged. With what else can it be? With snacks of course. Dum dee dum ~

Nothing much to blog about art & craft recently as I am playing around, hosting (by parents) and attending gatherings and practicing some new yoga movements. I am pretty into Fist of Fire right now. Oh ~ don’t get me wrong. It’s not a movie or something. It’s a yoga technique. ๐Ÿ˜€ Am also trying to learn more about myself. Have you ever ask yourself “who do you think you really are”? Well… I asked myself uncountable times. I have this doubt in mind since younger till I went to a Buddha meditation by faith few years back and found something that is indescribable. I wanna know what was that, why did it happen, where did the power come from? I wanna know.

“Faith is believing.”

And so I do believe that faith will leads me to the answers of all my questions one day. OM… Namaste.
