Week 34…

… As always, Wednesday is my favorite day. And now, it seems like I’m loving everyday. I got extremely hyped up for the up coming activities and can’t wait for the next day to come. I laughed myself to sleep last night, thinking how fun the rehearsal was, and how I reacted when i know that we have to do some dancing pose. What a surprise from Shammee. Took a deep breathe, shrug it off, join the fun and let me be silly. Du…dudu…dudu…dudududu… Duuu… Don’t worry, be happy. 😀 that’s the song keep repeating in my head.

Am extremely grateful to a very supportive family members who never give up on me. The bond and love from miss little Meagan perks me up whenever I am down from work. Hugs from yiyi. I’ll try my best to be a very good girl and will try not be forgetful, at least… :p

Life is indeed more colorful to have this bunch of sincere and wonderful friends who share thoughts and respects. I’m also very thankful to all the trust, support, patience, understandings and most of all, the appreciation from clients to me. It’s my pleasure and I’m happy working with them.

How can I not to admit that I’m the lucky one of having Abner to ride the roller coaster and grow together as one? Thanks dear for your patience.

Right now, I’m getting in touch with handcrafts back again and this will go for charity. I always wanted to do it. Thank you Denza for giving me this opportunity and to those who will be helping me. Thank you for making my wish come true. 🙂

I’ve gotta stop here and tomorrow is gonna be another eventful day though. Good night and have a wonderful weekend ~ Namaste, Melle.

God heard me…

smiley sun lotus flower

… First, He sent me someone when I needed someone to talk to. Someone whom I have not seen for years. Whom inspires me. Whom I respect. Mr. Dennis.

Second, He sent me a ‘sunflower’. A beautiful talking sunflower. Whom always help wash my tears away. Whom gives strong support, courage and bloom strongly in the heart.

Third, He gave me a wonderful image when I was sitting back to take a rest with my eyes closed. It’s a combination of a sunflower, lotus with a smiley face in meditation position.

And last but not least, He put a smile on my face. 🙂 Above is the image that I would like to share with you. I hope it put a smile on your face too !!

Wishing y’all a very nice Tuesday evening !! ~ Melle

See what have i done…

pumpkin pau

… a few weeks ago I was in Kemaman for the 2nd time. It was absolutely fantastic with the looong hour walk by the beach. The activities also included a short hike to a wonderful waterfall ever. Got to sweat like a pig – a good sign of burning calories and best of all (ironically) sleeping in a tent with the “doors and windows” wide open. It was super stuffy in there that we couldn’t take it anymore (I dunno why) and I was left with mosquito bites all over my face – so the “chickenpox-faced”. Geez… Of all my body, why on earth attacked the face? Eeee… But hey, because of that I got enlightened with an awesome remedy to get rid of the red dots. Toothpaste. You have gotta trust me !! TOOTHPASTE. I’ve tested this method on my own skin as well as my niece’s. Yes, it is chomelliciously proven to minimize the swell. 😀

Warning no. 1: Apply a very light layer of toothpaste on skin. Both adults and children. Don’t be greedy. Just do it. Warning no. 2: Make sure skin is thoroughly dry. Very very dry. You would not like to sting your own skin. Just ask me, I was the white mice. I got myself jumping up and down, rolling from one corner to another because I did both from the above.  Yes, very c.l.e.v.e.r.

… the souvenir that I received from the trip is a recipe from Siew Fong. Pumpkin pau with raisins and wolfberries. So this is my 1st time kneading a dough. Seriously, it was fun. Albeit, the pau turned out pretty dense but edible (I guess I applied too much pressure while kneading?) but don’t worry. I will not give up cooking. This is a message to Abner – ahem. Anyways, thanks to Siew Fong for the recipe. I love this light and healthy foodie.

Up Next… Cheese Ham Bun. Whoot !! 😀

Ohh no !! I have not get the angku kuih or nyonya stew chicken done yet.
Yor… me ada b.u.s.y ~ lah ~~~~ 😛

Mixed Fruits Cake

mixed fruits cake

Tada ~ my first cake !! A yummy treat for friends, family and myself.

Right now, I’m keeping the cake in the fridge for a month to age although I know that it would be best to keep it up to four months or longer. Oh well… I just know that I could not control my temptations. Hah !! It has been bothering me, I just dunno why. The feeling is like; Hey, I finally baked it, it’s now in the fridge and all I can only do is to wait to eat it. Can you feel how I feel? I’m waiting to eat my favourite fruits cake. Haha.

So, in order to distract my attention from the cake, I shall think of what to cook next. Angku kuih or nyonya stewed chicken? 😀 Cheers ~ Melle

First attempt(s)…

Last week after yoga class with some headstand without the support of a wall… (ahem), we decided to have some juices and breakfast at Diet Cafe. As I remember vividly, it was pouring cats and dogs as we were catching up and enjoying the morning coffee and juices, some nice food and one of my favourites – Sautéed Mushrooms with Garlic Bread. Out of curiosity, we guessed about the ingredients of this aroma-creamy-soft-mushroom and I roughly got the idea how to sautéed the mushrooms. And here it goes my first attempt. Of course it does not taste exactly what the chef cooked for us… but hey… I find it nice though. *giggle* Anyways, I shall lessen the cream milk and garlic bread which is a must to have in my next attempt. Of course, I need more people for the share too !! 😀

And this is also Abner’s first attempt. Am not so sure how he cooked it. It’s simple and nice as always. Seafood lightly creamed spaghetti.

Am waiting for my mixed fruit cake which is now in the oven. It’s my first attempt too. Guess it will be done in 10. Hopefully.

I gotta sign off now to get myself prepared for the climb later. Have a nice weekend people !!
